Developer Techland has officially revealed its post-launch roadmap for Dying Light The Beast, outlining a steady eleven-week plan of updates, new content, and a massive global community event titled “Call of the Beast.”

The initiative aims to keep the game alive and evolving through regular updates that expand replayability and challenge players with fresh experiences.

Eleven Weeks of Continuous Content

Following the game’s strong launch and the overwhelmingly positive reception from players, Techland is entering a new phase of post-release support.

The upcoming content roadmap promises long-awaited additions and gameplay improvements designed to deepen the late-game experience.

Among the highlights included in the roadmap are:

  • New Game+ Mode: replay the campaign while retaining your progress and gear.

  • Legend Levels: a new tier of progression for players who have completed the main story.

  • Nightmare Difficulty: an ultra-challenging mode for hardcore survivors.

Techland also confirmed new weapon execution animations, Ray Tracing support for PC, and a special collaboration with PUBG Mobile, alongside several unannounced surprises yet to be revealed.

“Call of the Beast” – A Global Dying Light The Beast Community Event

Alongside the gameplay updates, Techland announced the launch of a large-scale community event titled Call of the Beast, running from October 16, 2025 through January 7, 2026.

The event invites players from around the world to unite in completing weekly cooperative challenges that celebrate teamwork and persistence. Each week will introduce new objectives and exclusive in-game rewards — including new weapons, vehicle skins, and cosmetic items that appear directly in players’ inventories.

Participants who complete at least 17 of the 22 objectives will unlock a legendary secret reward at the end of the event. Additionally, if the global community collectively completes 20 total challenges, all participants will receive every available prize, regardless of their individual progress.

Through this event, Techland continues to celebrate its global fanbase and encourage cooperation and friendly competition among players. Weekly progress and new challenges can be tracked via the official event page on the Dying Light Outpost website.

The first challenge begins this Thursday, October 16, marking another major step in Techland’s ongoing commitment to delivering a dynamic, ever-evolving experience that keeps the player community engaged.
