With GTA 6 now just a few months away from release, excitement continues to build as players eagerly await every new detail surrounding Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated title. Anticipation has reached another level with pre-orders set to begin on June 25, especially after recent predictions suggested the game could generate more than $1 billion in sales within its first hour of availability.
Although Rockstar has revealed plenty of information over the past few months, one major question remained unanswered: the official GTA 6 price. After months of rumors and speculation, Take-Two Interactive has finally ended the debate by confirming the game’s launch pricing.
GTA 6 Price and Pre-Order Bonuses Officially Confirmed
In a new press release, Take-Two Interactive confirmed that the standard edition of GTA 6 will retail for $80, while the Ultimate Edition will be available for $100.
The pricing appears to strike a balance between player expectations and the publisher’s strategy. Numerous rumors had previously suggested that the standard edition could launch at $100, raising concerns among fans despite the franchise’s enormous popularity.
Many industry observers view the $80 GTA 6 price as a smart decision by Rockstar, as charging $100 for the base edition could have sparked significant backlash, even for one of the biggest gaming franchises in history.
The company also announced that everyone who pre-orders the game will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, an exclusive bonus featuring digital items inspired by the iconic Vice City setting.
Players who purchase a digital version will receive additional benefits, including the ability to preload the game beginning November 12, 2026, one full week before launch. Digital pre-orders will also include one free month of GTA+.
Meanwhile, the Ultimate Edition will feature a substantial collection of exclusive in-game content, including unique vehicles, weapons, outfits, custom vehicle modification shops, and several exclusive locations scattered throughout the game world.
The premium edition will also include additional side missions for protagonists Jason and Lucia, along with exclusive clothing stores, tattoo shops, and customization options unavailable in the standard version.
With the GTA 6 price now officially confirmed, all that remains is the wait until the game’s launch on November 19, 2026, when players will finally discover whether Rockstar has delivered the most ambitious and immersive entry in the series’ history.
