Details of PUBG: Battlegrounds New Update 37.2

KRAFTON confirmed today that PUBG: Battlegrounds has launched a global collaboration with world-renowned artist G-DRAGON as part of its latest 37.2 update.

This update introduces a wide range of content inspired by G-DRAGON, alongside fresh features such as movable player crates, push-and-pull doors, a redesigned Miramar map, and the return of the popular “Forgotten Survivors and Forgotten Hungry” mode.

The project marks a joint global collaboration between PUBG, PUBG MOBILE, and G-DRAGON. The update arrives on consoles September 18, with content coming to PUBG MOBILE on September 19.

With Update 37.2, players can immerse themselves in G-DRAGON’s artistic vision inside PUBG. In Miramar’s Truck Stop area, the set of his “PO₩ER” music video has been recreated, alongside a temporary fan zone called “Übermensch,” reflecting G-DRAGON’s creative world. Fan rooms have also been redesigned, and select buildings now feature PUBG x G-DRAGON aesthetics.

Additional features include Emote Stages across starting islands in Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo. Performing special collaboration emotes on these stages will synchronize players’ dances and cheers with G-DRAGON’s music.

The update also introduces an advanced weapon skin system with a new “Pure Color Customization” option. A G-DRAGON–themed advanced AUG skin is available via the G-DRAGON Contraband Crate, while the Pure Color feature expands customization choices by letting players adjust weapon colors and effects.

Moreover, the beloved mode “Forgotten Survivors and Forgotten Hungry” makes a comeback with an updated environment in Miramar. Players must work together to complete missions and fend off waves of enemies. The hunger gauge has been redesigned as a “Fullness Gauge”, rewarding players with buffs when it’s filled.

Other additions include movable player crates and interactive doors that can be pushed or pulled, adding tactical flexibility. Miramar’s Minas Generales area has been redesigned to improve loot distribution, streamline navigation, and create more balanced combat scenarios.
