God of War: Sons of Sparta Announced and Released
One of the biggest surprises of the event was the reveal of God of War: Sons of Sparta, which was not only announced but also launched worldwide for PlayStation 5 on the same day.
This new entry in the iconic franchise introduces a two-dimensional gameplay style, a notable departure from the traditional formula of the series. However, it is not considered a spin-off. Official statements confirmed that the events of Sons of Sparta are part of the main canon storyline and not a side or alternate narrative.
Additionally, TC Carson, the original voice actor of Kratos, returns to reprise his role after a long absence.
Original God of War Trilogy Remake Confirmed
The surprises continued for fans of the franchise, as PlayStation also confirmed that a remake of the original God of War trilogy is currently in development.
TC Carson will once again voice Kratos in the remake. Aside from a brief teaser trailer, no further details were shared about the project at this time.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Launching in August
A new Marvel fighting game titled Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls was officially revealed. The game is being developed by Arc System Works, a studio well known for its expertise in the fighting genre.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is scheduled to release on August 6, 2026, for PC and PlayStation 5.
Big Walk Coming to PS Plus
It was also announced that the upcoming title Big Walk, currently in development, will be available to subscribers through PlayStation Plus.
While no specific date was provided, the game is expected to join the service sometime during 2026 upon its official release.
Time Crisis Added to the PS Plus Classics Catalog
PlayStation confirmed an expansion of the PS Plus Classics catalog with the addition of Time Crisis in May 2026.
Access to the Classics catalog remains exclusive to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Joining the Classics Library
Premium subscribers will also gain access to Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, which will officially enter the Classics catalog in March 2026.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Coming to PS Plus
Subscribers to PlayStation Plus will soon be able to play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 through the service.
The game will be added to the PS Plus library on February 17, 2026.
Marathon Beta Announced
Players will have the opportunity to try Marathon, the upcoming multiplayer shooter, through a limited beta test.
The beta servers will open on February 26 and remain accessible until March 2.
New John Wick Game Revealed
The event also unveiled a new John Wick game, which currently does not appear to have a finalized title. The game will feature Keanu Reeves reprising his role as the iconic character.
The project is being developed in collaboration between Saber Interactive, Lionsgate, and director Chad Stahelski.
According to the official description, the game will present an entirely new story set within the John Wick universe, featuring both familiar and new characters. Saber Interactive aims to deliver an authentic experience that captures the cinematic tone of the films, including dynamic camera work and intense action-driven gameplay.
Konami Announces Rev. NOiR
Finally, Konami revealed a new title called Rev. NOiR, developed by ILCA.
So far, only a PlayStation 5 version has been confirmed, and no release date has been announced. The reveal trailer offered an early look at the game’s narrative direction and atmosphere.
Silent Hill Townfall Gameplay Reveals First-Person Perspective
A new gameplay teaser for Silent Hill Townfall has revealed an important detail about the project: the game will feature a first-person perspective, marking a shift from the traditional camera styles seen in many of the franchise’s most iconic entries.

One of the surprise announcements was Neva: Prologue, an expansion to the 2024 title Neva.

Mina The Hollower Launching This Spring
The new adventure title Mina The Hollower is scheduled to release in Spring 2026.

Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition Remaster Revealed

Beast of Reincarnation Gets August Release Date
Following its strong appearance during the Xbox Developer Direct event in January, Beast of Reincarnation is now set to launch on August 4.
The action RPG blends dark futuristic science fiction with a devastated Japanese-inspired setting. Players follow Emma, a young outcast infected with a mysterious disease known as “Blight,” alongside her four-legged companion Koo.
Gameplay combines real-time sword combat focused on precision and reflexes with a tactical command system that allows players to direct Koo in a more strategic manner. This dual-system design adds depth and forces careful decision-making during battles.
Crimson Moon Officially Announced
Crimson Moon, developed by ProbablyMonsters, takes players into a gothic world filled with angels, demons, and ancient gods.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered Officially Announced
